;D Your idea, I would risk to say, is not Original...but perfect since you are actually the First One to make it solid. I support this Site totally and believe that it will provide a great help for most unexperienced (like myself) in the area of knowing exactly what is going on around the dive world at the begginers level and why not for most experienced as well. Thumb's Up "IsDeep"!!! ;D

Thumb's Up "IsDeep"!!! ;D i never would claim that the idea is original, its the result of 12 yrs in the dive industry and many conversations with many pro´s all over the world. the last kick was that some good friends of mine got screwed badly and i thought its about time to stop talking and just get it going, see how it gets accepted and depending on that take the whole concept to the next step with a full website and so on. i didnt think to much in the far options of it yet.

Well my good man, you have taken a good step. for proper dive pros and centers alike. For the ones who taint this industy, I will assure you, many of you will be on borrowed time. As with any revolution, the baddies will fall, if not all, enough to put the rest in hiding to bring a 'Golden Age' to our sport. I posted a long commentary on the topic of "who posted this stuff. Food for thought I talked with my wife(who's an x-ray/mammotech) she told me her training was a total of $6000, her annual fees to keep membership is about $100 and her uniform upkeep is also $100. NOW to get just to OWSI is about $5000 from ow on up , then you get yearly fees of minimum $700, for dues and insurance. then gear upkeep will be about $200, the tech will more than likely get benefits, we might not (more than likely),. NOW get this, they make about 40,000 with little major responsibility, we'd be lucky to make $20,000. I did not even mention , getting Dan pro insurance, all the dives to go to the next level , tank fills, if you go overseas buying your own ticket. So please for those who think people are whining, look at the big picture, would a doctor do that knowing of the pay and benefits?. And to the bad seed divers, don't become educators if you want to slough off, I get the end of your lack of care and integrity to the sport many of us love and have bled for. Stay divers and minimize the risk to your buddies( who probably think like you). GODSPEED TO ALL

No this is a great idea - I was thinking of a sort of trade union cum recruitment agency, but this is superb.
I shall pass the address onto all the Instructors I know here in Malta as this sort of thing is only as good as the people who contribute.
Hopefully it will go from strength to strength

Congratulations to the one who created this site. You probbably don´t realize the power this site has over the diving business, but you´ll confirm that soon enough. In some way this site will prevent unexperienced instructors from falling in the hands of scuba mother ****** who slave us only for their money convenience, making us sea sleepers (not horses...). Also it will set a precedent to those getting in the mood of screwing others, thinking that the world is so big that nobody will ever know, WRONG!, somebody will gotcha in this site!!! And as a statement, take a look on the PADI pro and you will see some guys already saying how good they are as employeers. Let´s make life misserable to those who screw us, so they know what it feels like to be alone... Thanks.
