and would like to see what we get here as ideas / responses!!!!

I have just recently crossed over my instructor cert. to PADI from SSI. In so doing, I was constantly under attack from both sides as to why I would cross over or why I hadn't seen the light sooner. What are the pros and cons of each certification agency? Not just the two that I have mentioned but all of them. Please, I do not wish this question to incite a riot. I am, however, curious as to all of your opinions of the different agencies and how they excel or even when they do not. I realize that sometimes we are limited geographically as to which agency we can choose to affiliate with but I was hoping that we could discuss this question as if we had the oppurtunity to choose a cert. agency based on merit.

forum) and I am not going to get dragged into anything that will surely end up in agency bashing..........They all have their good points and they all have their bad points.........As I have said a thousand times its not the agency that counts its the diving instr.......God I wish we could open our own non - profit diving cert agency and just do away with all this inter agency B ull Shi t ..............
