has anyone a concrete explanation about the Leopards around PhiPhi Islands/Thailand- we see them from time to time at the local dive sites, but whats about PP- what happened???

yep they are around. i have seen them right at bottom of King cruiser. under bow.

Yeah, I believe that- but thats not the bottom line- they have been in a bigger amount "all" around PP(Bida Nok&Nai, Hin Bida, Maya Nui, Anemone&Shark Point etc.) last years- they arnt anymore- WHY ;-) ?

maybe anything to do with the tsunami? shouldnt really, wrong area i guess. changed conditions, like pollution, overfishing, just too many divers on the sites??? just guessing here, last time i was anywhere near there is about 10yrs ago if not longer and even then only for 5 or 6 wks.

no, after the Tsunami, I was diving a week later around PP- guess..., more fish and 1 degree colder, and Leopards... Pollution is always a point- over fishing...? Mmmmh..., mystery
