I just thought I copy that over to here before it disappears of the PADI Employment board:

After all those messages I rode on this board, about people complaining about cheating and ****y employers, I kind of get disapointed.
I m wondering why people are complaining, of bad salary, and no contract thing.
It s not PADI's fault if you get fooled like that. It s only yours. First of all if everybody would start asking for a written contract to their employers maybe that kind of b*** would stop.
Are you all dreaming that diving employers are angels
I m now working 6 years in the industry, and I never get fooled by anyone, just by asking for a simple contract. In any other kind of jobs, you do so, isn t it ? So why do you have to stop when you go for diving jobs.
Just blame yourself for trusting everybody eyes closed... look what happened to white snow. There are no dwarfs in PADI to come to rescue you...
I hope this message will open a bit your eyes.

Wish we could all be as clever as you Nader!!

How else would the good guys find out about the bad guys?? It seems that a lot of people are taken for a ride in the dive industry. It seems a great shame that some dive centres feel the need to do what they do.

Nader,
According to what I could read on "bad employers", the instructors do not complain, and they do not show PADI : they warn the other Instructors, quite simply. Nothing wrong or stupid, I think.
Nina
I'm sure that will be continued or as usual deleted by PADI.
