Hi All,
I offer the NAUI series of diving courses. Since I do not have a service centre in my country (Taiwan) I need to buy my products from abroad. This results in ridiculously high postage charges and also long time delays. I know I could get around this by buying big quantities and planning in advance, but it just seems to make things a bit too complicated at times. Obviously like all of us, I'm assuming, I want to have the lowest costs at the highest profit. So, I'm looking for a source on the internet or any other where I can print and download RGBM dive tables and log book pages. Could any of you help me out with this, maybe point me in the right direction. My intention is not to start copying stuff all over and screw NAUI. I'm just trying to work the system a bit better. It's my understanding after all that NAUI just put their logo on a RGBM dive table and calls it "the NAUI dive tables". So i won't be breaking any copyright laws and I'd be using the same tables anyway. Am i right?
Your advice and comments would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Paul

how would that be for naui tables (the copyright issue you would have to work out yourself - i dont know naui's stand on that). go to: www.naui.org/table.htm (you can open each of the 5 links seperate, copy it and then throw them together as you like in a simple graphics proggy) as far as logbookpages go, you can google that, there are thousands of downloadable / printable versions to be found online.

8-)I would imagine , as long as you're just running off copies of the RGBM tables and using them for your courses, but NOT charging for them, there would be no infractions with copyright laws. Usually those laws pertain to " making a profit off of the item" ;D But on another level--dosn't your students need these tables for their own use in a format that will last a looong time? paper copies don't do that!! Good luck, I would still check on those copyright issues. Isdeep is right about the Log Book pages.

Thanks guys,
I agree my students need the tables in long lasting format. Preferably on 'plastic'. I checked out to see what the cost would be to get the RGBM format tables printed on thickish plastic. Turned out to be a high cost due to them wanting me to print at least 2000. I always suggest my students to keep tables in their BCD pocket. Anyway, when i come up with a cost effective way I'll post it on the board.
Cheers
