yeah not a bad idea at all. I worked in Cyprus for a bit and some shop's or at lest the one i worked for, bend the rule's ie intro x 7 person does not sound like a standard to me. but it's cyprus and shop's don't have to do padi dsd courses. yeah right !!! Find a shop instructor then. oh and the best so far was the head instructor taking a 9 year old to 20 mt ( but his good) yeah and so's my ticket back to blighty....

I've got another idea for a forum - well, really 2 forums. One for new members to introduce themselves and share whatever information they're comfortable with on the board....and one (probably later) for new divers wtih questions - sort of like newdiver.com forums. I prefer boards like these to threaded boards - this type of board is easier to search through, and questions don't have to be answered ump-teen times. I haven't looked to see if there's a FAQ yet (that's my next browse before I have to get ready for work tonight) - but posting etiquitte and search functions should be in there. I'm big on etiquitte . Also, is there a way to modify the board software to show someone's location when they post without having to look at the individual profiles? That might help some folks (like me) who see inconsistencies in phrasing to realize that they're not talking to an American or whatever. It's difficult to determine by text on a screen if someone is using a turn of phrase that's normal for them and misunderstanding it because of cultural differences. Just thinking out loud, as it were. Nice work Isdeep - thanks for the opportunity to give input *edited to fix typo
