Accident Thailand Koh Tao 23.02.2006
the mother of a diver, who had an accident, asked me to find out more infos about her missing son. The criminal investigators, the local authorities, PADI, the police and anybody else that may be able to help, have already been informed by her.
Missing is: Mr. Thomas Casagrande ("Casa") PADI Dive Master, also certified as technical deep diver, he was working together with diving base "Carabao" at Koh Tao.
On 23.02.06, they planned to dive twice to a wreck, depth at 50 - 60 m deep. Approximately 10 - 12 divers where on the boat at this day. The diving group was divided into buddy-teams with 2 persons each group. Mr. Thomas Casagrande was equipped with double tanks and two stages. Mr. Casagrande never returned from this dive.
The diving group and the dive-guides interrupted the search the same day without results. Since then Mr. Casagrande is missing.
Questions: Who was on the same boat of "Davy Jones Locker" on 23.02.2006 ? Who knows something about possible diving partners or the circumstances of this diving session ? Who has infos about Thomas Casagrande ?
Infos please per mail to: mail @ aquaterra-augsburg. de

Add On....... Following the fact that I have found nothing concerning this accident in / on any other website or forum in the world. I have written to the above mentioned diveshop asking for their comments on this matter i.e. is this story a hoax or not? Wouldn't be the first time someone has written things on a forum that were not true........ We will see.............
