well - sink them all and get your a$$ up to do the same to the japanese whaling fleet!!!! there are three simple steps to teach: 1st - i tell you, 2nd - you have some losses and 3rd - it hurts really bad (in this case sink the f***ers!) Three illegal fishing boats have been caught off the north eastern coast of Australia, near one of the most environmentally significant islands in the Great Barrier Reef. Liam Fox reports: Customs officials apprehended the Indonesian boats near Raine Island, 600 kilometres north of Cairns last Friday. The 27 crew have been taken to Thursday Island and the boats were sunk at sea. Raine Island is world's largest remaining rookery for the vulnerable green turtle and it's a protected, no-go zone. A spokesman for the Federal Fisheries Minister Eric Abetz couldn't say whether turtlemeat was found on board the boats. He also denied newspaper reports that authorities knew about the boats for two weeks before taking action. Queensland's Environment Minister Desley Boyle says it's disturbing news: "Only this week we had declared this to be the year of the turtle. It is one of the few breeding sites left." A search is continuing for other illegal fishing boats believed to be in the area. ABC Asia Pacific TV / Radio Australia abcasiapacific.com/news/stories/asiapacific_stories_1568096.htm
