"Native english Rescue or DM needed in Mallorca (Pto.Pollensa)from now to 15th September, mainly for pool demos and DSD´s. Send us a full CV + recent photo. Pls contact michaelromkowski@hotmail.com for details. Mallorca Pro Dive" thats the job ad. so far so good, but dont we advertise here already an intended break of standards? so if i dont find a dm (already strange cert. level to do the dsd's) a rescuediver will be just fine to do that and the pool demos!! by the way, its even on the padi employment board. are we so far now, that we can advertise our non commitment to diver safety and padi standards on their own board

well, lets face it, the padi employment board is there for padi members, but it doesnt mean you got to advertise your job only at it. there are several websites with scuba jobs most of them freely accessible. it does not matter where a job gets advertised, you should be within the standards of your agency.

yep, just pages not only accessible by "members". i can see stuff slipping thru there, on padi's own employment board it shouldn't. as extreme as they are with deleting posts, "that don't belong on there" they should also make sure, that advertised jobs are within padi standards.
